Pope Francis has chosen Ireland to host the 9th World Meeting of Families during 2018.The dates and theme of the Meeting will be announcedlater.This Meeting is expected to attract thousands of Catholic families from around the globe to Ireland. It is hoped that this very special pastoral initiative will present all of us in the Church with the opportunity, and the challenge, to renew, support and strengthen Irish families in their commitment to their faith.
  4. NINE DAYS OF PRAYER, NOVENA TO THE SACRED HEART will take place from Thurs. May 26th to Fri. June 3rd at 6.10pm each evening in St. John’s Church, Castle Street, Tralee. Novena Prayers and reflection at Mass each evening. Service of Reconciliation with Confessions (no Mass) on the Sunday evening.   1. Course in Pastoral Ministry, Corca Dhuibhne Pastoral Area, 2016 – 2017: This will be held 4 Saturdays next Autumn & 4 Saturdays next Spring at a venue in Dingle. It is open to all but especially members of the Pastoral Council, Liturgy Group, Finance Comm. & other Church groups.Anybody interested in doing this Course is asked to contact the Presbytery.

  1. ‘Thank you’ from Scoil Bhreac Chluain: ’Scoil Bhreac Chluain is delighted to have won €500 in the Lee Strand raffle. Mighty Mikey came to school on Thurs. April 7th to present the cheque to the school. We are very grateful to everybody in the community who helped us collect tokens for the draw over the past few months. Ní neart go cur le chéile. Well done everyone. We are still collecting the Mighty Mikey Milk mascots from the Lee Strand milk bottles and cartons.’
