The Thanksgiving Service for the life of Mrs Enys Heelin

…. Shoe boxes/Operation Christmas Child – sending a shoe box full of gifts to a child who may not receive any other Christmas present. You can help in several ways:-

1. Fill your own shoe box – please take a leaflet with suggestions in it of what to put in the boxes. (The Church is happy to put the £3.00 shipping expenses in your box if you wish)

2. Bring items which can go into shoe boxes - please leave these in the box in the Entrance.

3. Donate cash which will be used to buy items for boxes – please give this to Jean F.

4. Bring some empty shoe boxes.

Can items for boxes and cash be donated as early as possible or by 5th November at the latest (so that there is plenty of time for the shoe boxes to be made up), and filled boxes by 20th November.

…. Church on the Bus are in need of extra sandwich makers for our Thursday evening session. What's involved? Making 70 sandwiches of three different fillings once a month – that's all -

oh and delivering them to the bus at council offices (Town Hall) by 6.30 pm.

…. Christmas Fayre – This year our Christmas Fayre is on Saturday 18th November, 2017 between 11.00 am and 2.00 pm. We require help with organising and running stalls as well as help in the kitchen.

There are lists on the notice Board for people to put their name down to help. Also there is a list for food that is required.
