LIP SYNC 2015!
ATTENTION ALL MONTGOMERY 5TH AND 6TH GRADERS!
Get ready for Lip Sync, a very popular annual event for Montgomery Elementary students and families. Each year, 5th and 6th grade students are invited to participate in an evening show where they lip sync to a song of their choice. The students put together their own groups, songs, and costumes and coordinate their dance moves. It has become an event that many Montgomery families look forward to attending, and admission is free!
This year’s Lip Sync will take place on Friday, March 13th at 7:00pm at the Penndale Middle School auditorium. There will be a mandatory Dress Rehearsal at Montgomery Elementary’s gym on Thursday February 26th from 3:35 to 5:00pm. See attached rules for more information.
A registration form/permission slip is attached below. One member from each group must return ALL permission slips from each member of the group (stapled together) along with your CD (3 minutes or less) and lyrics no later than Tuesday January 20th. Please place all items together in a Ziploc bag so that no items get lost. Your group will be notified if your song is approved/not approved by January 26th. See the attached Rules and Regulations to guide you as you start forming groups and brainstorming ideas. Just keep in mind, Lip Sync is for FUN and is not a competition. Have fun working together. We are sure you will make it another great event!
