The jury sitting took place on February 2 & 3, 2008 in Prague. The jurors listened 29 recording in total in the following categories: Flute (12), Clarinet (6), Oboe (4), Trumpet (4) and Bassoon (3). The recordings were sent from 9 following countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Latvia, Hungary, Romania, Russia and Slovakia. The jury awarded following prizes:
