Greenwood Memorial Scholarship

The Greenwood Memorial Scholarship provides scholarships for individuals who have graduated from the Canisteo-Greenwood School District and plan to pursue an education at a college or university the following fall. The amount of each award and number of awards given is dependent upon the number and qualifications of the applications received and on the scholarship funds available.

Candidates will be chosen based on the following criteria:

Academics

Extracurricular Activities

Leadership

Essay

Financial Need

Eligibility Requirements

Interested applicants must return the following to the high school GUIDANCE OFFICE by May 12, 2017. No late applications will be accepted.

• A completed application form

• An essay (see criteria below)

• An official transcript that includes GPA, class ranking and SAT scores if

available.

• A reference letter from someone who is familiar with you and your

educational goals.
