Salary

Gross contract payment - £3,198
(Excluding the monthly personal allowance of $1000 which will be paid by Hanban)
Standard hourly rate -£6.50*(any hours worked above the standard 12 hours per week must be pro rata)
*Please note the National Minimum Wage (NMW) is due to increase later in 2015, the rate will be adjusted accordingly

Some assistants will attend training days run by the local authority. In addition, the British Council alongside various cultural institutions organises training days for most assistants.
We will arrange a period of one week's observation in our school for the first week that you are here.
