NORCROSS, GA - The Leica DISTO™ D810 touch is the world’s first laser distance meter with a touch screen and revolutionary “measure with a picture” feature. The integrated camera can be used to take pictures and download them to a computer. The high level of functionality is complemented by the smart free app, Leica DISTO™ sketch.
Handheld laser measuring tools have become a standard for architects, carpenters, surveyors and many other users in the construction and building industry. Today they frequently need to obtain distances, heights, areas and volumes quickly and react instantly on design changes. The new Leica DISTO™ D810 touch is the perfect tool to measure precisely, verify dimensions and document by taking onsite pictures with the integrated camera.
Touch Screen Operation Simplifies Measurement
The touch screen is easy and intuitive to operate; just like a smartphone, you can swipe and zoom with two fingers. All the functions are simple and easily accessible. The touch screen can also be used to take measurements, which avoids moving the Leica DISTO™ D810 touch during the measurement.
Revolutionary – Measure and Document with a Picture
It has never been easier to obtain the width, height, area or even the diameter of an object: one measurement to the object is all it takes. The desired dimension is marked using two arrows in the picture, and the measured value appears in the display. In addition to the zoom on the pointfinder, an overview camera is available for large objects.
The camera function of the Leica DISTO™ D810 touch can be used to create pictures or screen shots for recording purposes. Images can be downloaded to a computer via the USB interface so you can capture every detail on the measured target points.

This allows you to have all the information you need in a single document. The files can be sent by e-mail directly to the office.

The Leica DISTO™ D810 touch offers all these features combined with a measuring range up to 200m and a measuring accuracy of ±1mm according to ISO standard 16331-1. The lifetime manufacturer’s warranty PROTECT by Leica Geosystems and the option to register the tool provide additional reassurance. With the registration, the no-cost period for service under the warranty is extended from 2 to 3 years.
