Responsibilities: Provides Life Skills curriculum for at-risk students to address personal, social and emotional adjustments related to their educational progress. Consults and collaborates with other support providers to establish and plan goals for modifying student's behavior. Conducts staff and student training in Conflict Resolution, Peer Mediation and Violence Prevention. Attends all regularly scheduled meetings as directed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree and three years’ experience working in an area of prevention programming required. Master's degree and prior experience working with children and parents preferred. Experience working in an urban school or community center setting preferred. Work 10 month position, 35 hours per week. Some summer work opportunities may be available.
Salary: $18.14/ hour.

Requirements: At least one year of experience working with young children in group activities; ability to deal with children in stressful situations. As well as an Associate's Degree that consists of 12 or more credits that pertain to Early Childhood Education (ECE) OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and 12 or more credits that pertain to Early Childhood Education (ECE). Experience in an urban school district and/or a multi-cultural environment is preferred. Work Year/Hours of Work: 10 months, 35 hours per week
