- Participants advised to wear sensible foot wear and long trousers.

- Ensure young people are closely supervised at all times. Ratio of leaders to Young People is implemented plus a leader in charge.

- Play area fence to enable safe management of group.
- Regular safety checks of the fence are carried out by the Rhydd Service Team.
- Boundary Fence to be checked before the start of the Activity if any of it is damaged or broken you should be reported to the Duty Warden.
- No climbing the fences – Entrance to be used to gain Entry and Exit.
- Young People advised during the Safety Briefing Not to climb the fences.

- Group to walk the course, demonstration if required prior to running the activity.
- Equipment should not be used when underfoot conditions are wet, causing hands and feet to slip.
- Take consideration of age / learning ability, physical capability and any Medical conditions
- Ensure young people are closely supervised at all times
- Impact absorbent material (Dark Chippings) installed under Equipment.
- Participants advised NO racing each other during this Activity.
- Participants - No loose or bulky clothing to be worn during this activity.
- Participants – No Necker’s to be worn during this Activity and remove any jewellery from around there neck or wrists.
- Long hair needs to be tired up during this Activity.
- Regular safety checks of the Activity Equipment are carried out by the Rhydd Service Team. Potential splinters are sanded down.
- Numbers of Participants limited on each piece of equipment. Only one person at a time on the ladders and Slide. No Pushing or climbing on the top bars of the “Crazy Wave” No jumping of any Equipment/Swings.
- Ideally face inwards and not towards the fence when using the Swings.
- Participants advised during Safety Briefing NOT to put fingers down the side of the Trampoline or throw sand from the sand pit.
- Ensure you carry a First Aid kit of suitable size.
