1. Read Chapter 3 for next week; come to class with the intent of good discussion and active participation
2. Write Personal Teaching Statement and turn in to me on 9/9

Tuesday, September 9th
1. Read Chapter 4 for next week and be ready to discuss
2. Be thinking about your own philosophy of teaching
3. Internship placements need to be finalized by next week (15 days – 2 hours each day, 30 hours total)
4. Internship FORMS are due to me 9/16

Tuesday, September 16th
1. Best/Worst Teacher assignment is due 9/23
2.You should start your internship beginning the week of Monday, September 22nd

Tuesday, September 23rd
1. Education Philosophy assignment is due 9/30

2. Internship: ADDITIONAL FORM, all placement forms due tonight, writing reflections

3. Collect Best/Worst Teacher assignment

4. Review for Exam 1
5.You should start your internship this week! ALL internship experiences should be completed by
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14th
*This gives you 8 weeks to complete this assignment

  1. Look at Final Exam – I MUST COLLECT THESE! 
  2. ALL group projects and papers must be turned in to me this evening (no exceptions)
  3. Group presentations (I am excited!) We will pick numbers from a bag to determine order, as I shouldn’t have a problem with 1-5! HA!
  4. Internship Reflections and Summative Reflection are due next week – November 18th (Please have them in a folder of some type for me.)
