LESSON: WHY LEARN ANOTHER VIDEO PROGRAM? (ADOBE)
*** To Change Panasonic P2 Digital Format into a AVI File for DartFish
(using Media Encoder found on a separate sheet)
*** To Adjust MISTAKES in the RAW Video so it will Work Better in DartFish
a. ADJUST the Light Value of the Clip (it is too DARK or No Contrast)
b. ADJUST the SIZE of the Clip (make it Larger)
c. ADJUST the LOCATION of the Subject in the Frame (center subject)
d. CUT DOWN the CLIP LEGNTH (get ride of the extra video footage)
ADJUST THE BRIGHTNESS and CONTRAST of a VIDEO CLIP
1. Get the clip from the Assets File (A) and Drag it to the Video TIMELINE
2. Go to the Effects Box (D) in the lower Left Hand part of the screen
3. Click on the ADJUST VIDEO EFFECTS Folder
4. Click on ADJUST go to Shadow/HighLight Category and Drag it to the clip
5. This should make a difference in the clip
6. If you need Further Adjustment Go to the EFFECTS Tab and Click on it,
then make the needed adjustments
*** the EFFECTS TAB (B2) is in the right of the SORCE Tab
7. When you are done RENDER the Video Clip IF NEEDED
RENDERING THE VIDEO CLIP BEFORE MOVING ON (if the Line is RED)
1. If the LINE Above the Video Clip is a RED COLOR do the following
2. WHEN YOU ARE DONE put the CURSER on RED LINE and Click on it
3. Then push ENTER a box will appear and it will time you out
4. When the Rendering is done the line will Turn to a GREEN
ADJUSTING THE SIZE OF THE VIDEO CLIP (making the object BIGGER)
1. Get the clip from the Assets File and Drag it to the Video TIMELINE
2. MOVE Video Clip to the Project Window (C) move the BLUE Balloon to it
3. Once the clip is in the Project Window click in the middle of the clip
4. A CENTER, the FOUR Corners and FOUR Midside Markers will appear
5. DRAG the Midside Marker out to make the Video Images get BIGGER
6. When you get it to the right size, Center it in the Frame
7. When you are done RENDER the Video Clip IF NEEDED
CUTTING DOWN A VIDEO CLIP TO THE EXACT SIZE OF THE MOVEMENT
1. Bring up the Video Clip in the SOURCE Window by DOUBLE CLICKING on it
2. Move the Blue Balloon to the Start of the Action, Click on the “ { “ icon
3. Move the Blue Balloon to the Finish of the Action, Click on the “ } “ icon
4. Drag the Edited Clip to the TIMELINE for further adjustments
