Service Level Agreement for membership of the NCETM CPD Standard Subscription Scheme
Below is a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to cover the provision of support and assessment services relating to the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) CPD Standard (CPD S) accreditation. These services are available to any provider of mathematics CPD, whether delivered via an individual consultant, primary/secondary school, 6thform college, teaching school alliance or maths hub, academy chain, federation, centre for excellence in teacher training, local authority, further education college, higher education institution, subject association, companyor other organisation, through membership of the NCETM CPD Standard subscription schemeand by return of a signed service level agreement(SLA) and payment of relevant fee.
We are committed to providing CPD Standardsupport and assessment services within this scheme at subscriptionrates thatcover the central administration costs of this national awardand fees that we payour accredited assessors, whilst keeping the annual charges to a level that we believe should proveaffordable for members coming from a wide range of CPD provider contexts and sizes and which reflect the benefits that CPD Standardaccreditation offers them.
The CPD Standard operates through a 3-year accreditation cycle and different services will be provided through the SLA over the course of this. Theseservices include initial assessment verification (IAV) (when required to gain a first CPD Standard), renewal verification (RV) every three years and aninterim support and review (ISAR) between each submission verification. Written feedback is provided after each IAV, RV and ISAR, together withregular e-newsletters and discounts on NCETM and Tribal publications and events. Although membership may be cancelled at any time by giving 3 months written notice, we do ask that you only apply to join the subscription scheme if you currently have a genuine intention tosustain your membership for a minimum of three years in order to ensure the overall subscription scheme remains financially viable and so is sustainable.
The SLA which follows is a legal contract that should be read carefully before it is signed and returned.‘The Annex’ outlines both the responsibilities of Tribal, acting on behalf of the NCETM, and of the individual Subscriber and the ‘Payment Schedule’.
Kind regards
NCETM CPD Standard Team
