DELIVER THE DREAM RAISES MORE THAN $15,000 TO HELP FAMILIES IN CRISIS AT THE 80s STRIKE BACK!

4th Annual Bowling Tournament benefits Deliver the Dream Family Retreat Program

Pompano Beach, Fla. – Deliver the Dream hosted “The 80s Strike Back!” a 1980s themed bowling tournament, on August 8, 2015 at Diamond Strike Lanes in Pompano Beach.

The sold out 80s Strike Back! Tournament hosted 32 teams and included a bowling competition for “Rubik’s Cube” trophies, 1980s trivia, an 80s inspired costume contest, a strike challenge and a silent auction. The silent auction included items such as a Fort Lauderdale Staycation package, a seven day Barbados vacation, a golf foursome at Woodbridge Country Club, restaurant gift cards, and wine packages. The winner of the strike challenge, the first person to bowl three strikes in a row, won a cruise for two to the Bahamas provided by Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line. Winners of the costume contest included a neon-striped “party animal,” an 80s hairband member, and a University of Miami football fan.

Event sponsors included Sports & Promotional Specialties, Protiviti, AirMD, Jet’s Pizza of Pompano Beach, Fred’s Security Services, Dairy Queen of Pompano Beach, Glazer & Associates, P.A., Fanatics, McIntosh, Sawran & Cartaya, P.A., Marrinson Senior Care Residences, The Law Offices of Carner, Newmark, and Cohen, Christopher Ciano, Best Roofing, and Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line.
