SEO Career Program Housing Information
NEW YORK CITY
New York can be an exciting city, provided that you live in a place that is right for you. Rent is high, so it is wise to find a residence that fits within the constraints of your summer budget. Being selective in choosing an apartment or room can only improve the quality of your summer experience.
The SEO Career Program has assembled the following list of residential housing options. We hope this list is helpful to you. It is advisable for you to start your summer housing search as soon as you receive your acceptance information, as there are varying application deadlines that you must meet in order to secure summer housing at certain locations.
Typical dorm housing dates range from approximately late May to early August. You MUST refer to your enrollment letter for specific training dates for your program. In addition, there may be job interviews and additional networking opportunities scheduled for the end of your internship. Therefore, try to arrange any housing accommodations for possibly a week after the end of your internship so that you can take advantage of all that the SEO summer has to offer.
If you are a Corporate Law intern, you are not required to be in New York until the first week of June. Please contact Luisa Peredo Ewingif you have any questions. Information regarding your summer calendar will be sent out shortly.
DO NOT WAIT UNTIL APRIL ORMAY TO SECURE SUMMER HOUSING. The real estate market in New York is very tight, especially in the summer when thousands of college students, such as yourself, come to New York to experience summer internships. By starting your summer housing search early, you will get the best selection and (possibly) the cheapest rates.
Good luck and we look forward to seeing you this summer!
(Note: You will need to confirm that these residences are still available. Be advised that some of the contact information for these residences may have changed. Starred* listings are for women only.)
