CLASSROOM RULES:

  • Class begins as soon as you walk in the door and ends when I dismiss you.
  • Be in your seat when the Tardy Bell Rings.
  • Stay in your assigned seat and keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
  • Always follow directions the first time they are given. If you have any questions about the directions, please raise your hand and wait to be recognized.
  • When guest (principal, teacher, parent, student, etc.) are present there should be NO TALKING.
  • Absolutely NO personal grooming during class this includes but not limited to combing/brushing hair, applying nail polish, applying make-up (lip gloss, eye shadow, blush, etc), hairspray/spritz, body spray, or perfume. Due to classmates and/or teacher having allergies, please be mindful and do not break this rule.
  • ALL CELL PHONES, IPODS, IPADS, E-READERS, or any other electronic device are to be placed on the OFF position once you have entered the classroom. Please follow the BYOD Policy for this classroom!
  • NO FOOD, DRINKS (including water), GUM, or CANDY IS ALLOWED IN THE COMPUTER LAB AT ANY TIME.
  • Leave your station clean. No trash around the workstation.
  • Do not put your feet on the bottom of the workstation.
  • Do not print anything without my permission.
  • Do not go to the printer to get anything that you have printed.
  • You are not allowed to go to ANY music sites, game sites, MYSPACE, FACEBOOK, SKYPE, TWITTER, MINICLIP, ASKFM, SNAPCHAT, GLIDE, YOUTUBE, OR ANY OTHER SITE unless it is included in our daily instruction. Going to any of these sites are against Limestone County Schools Internet Policy and students will be punished accordingly.
  • You are not allowed to check your personal email account.
  • You are not allowed to download or save/transfer any music to your hard drive.
  • You are not allowed to change the screensaver/background on the computers.
  • MY EXPECTATIONS: Students are expected to:
  • Be cooperative and talk only when called upon.
  • Exhibit a respectful attitude toward fellow students and me.
  • NO SLEEPING OR putting your head down on your workstation, FIGHTING, or PROFANITY)

If any of these rules are not followed, I understand that I will incur the following consequence:

  • Automatic 5 days of detention

Make-up/late work: Students are responsible for work missed during absences. Student must schedule an appointment with the teacher to make up work.

  • Contact me the day you return to class to schedule a time for your missed assignments.
  • You will have three (3) days to make up your work.
  • Any previously assigned work is due on the day the student returns to class.
  • Work not made up will result in a zero (0) grade.
  • Students will receive ½ credit for work submitted after it is requested.

Attendance/Tardy policy: (East Limestone High School)

  • Any student who is not “seated in his/her assigned station for work” is to be considered tardy and to be “verbally reprimanded.”
  • Teacher will document attendance in his/her grade book.
  • Upon the third (3rd) tardy to any class, the student will remain after school in the event of future tardiness.
  • Any student who fails to report to After School Detention will be referred to the Assistant Principal.
  • Parents/Guardians will receive an attendance letter after five absences. The same letter will be submitted to the SRO.

I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THIS CLASS. I WILL ABIDE BY THIS PLAN OR ACCEPT THE CONSEQUENCE(S) IF I DISOBEY ANY RULE.
