Note: This Form will be considered legal and bidding if attached to a personal email – in doing such, your email can and will be considered an electronic signature, (do not sign or electronically sign this form unless you fully agree to the terms – Failure to sign the terms also can and will prevent your participation on a trip, outing or event – Fully understanding and accepting of the terms is a requirement)
When the term Meetup Group is so mentioned it is to Colorado Backpackers and Campers Meetup, Colorado Tent Campers Meetup, and any other Meetup trip, event, or outing directly or indirectly associated with these groups...
- Each participant in Meetup Group activities participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. If at any time any participant believes conditions to be unsafe, that participant will immediately discontinue further participation in the Meetup activity. If any participant decides to leave early and not to complete the Activity as planned, each participant assumes all risks inherent in their decision to leave.
- Each participant is personally responsible to provide for all their own all costs, insurance and liability coverage associated with travel to and from any and all Meetup Groupactivities and locations. Each participant is aware that participation in Meetup Group activitiesmay include travel over roads upon which the hazards of traveling are to be expected. Some of those hazards may include, but are not all inclusive, narrow and very rough dirt roads with deep ruts, mud, rocks, high mountain roads, property damage, and other unspecified or unknown hazards. Each participant assumes all risk associated with travel to, during, and from a Meetup Group activity.
- Each participant understands that their participation in any carpool arrangements is made at their own risk. Each participant may choose to or not to carpool at their own discretion.
- Each participant is personally responsible to provide for all their own costs, insurance and liability associated with their own participation in any and all Meetup Group activities. Participation in Meetup Group activities may involve foreseen and unforeseen conditions, hazards and risks, including, but not are all inclusive, inclement weather, lightning, animal attacks, rough and/or steep trails, river crossings, sprains, broken bones, any other minor or serious personal injury or death, excessive heat and cold temperatures, elevation and other known or unknown conditions associated with traveling in Colorado and the Colorado backcountry. Each participant assumes all risk associated with participating in any Meetup Group activity.
- Each participant is aware that organizer roles in events are strictly limited to facilitate the planning of an activity. The Meetup Group Organizers/Assistant Organizers are neither instructors nor experts in hiking, backpacking, camping or first aid and are not responsible to train or provide equipmentto any participant to enable them to participate in Meetup Group activities. Each participant is responsible to obtain proper instruction and bring equipment and first aid materials and be adequately experienced on their own prior to participating in any and all Meetup Group activities.
