Wyoming Area School District is producing a school report card to meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Legislation (NCLB). NCLB has charged each district with supplying parents with information regarding their schools. Parents also have the right to request the qualifications of each teacher in the district.

The scores of 75% or higher indicate the mastery level of the class and not individual students. Scores of 50% or higher indicate partial mastery by class not individual students. These scores compared to the state Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) of 45% in Reading and 35% in Math are very encouraging with regards to student growth, since these tests are closely aligned to the Pennsylvania System of School Assessment (PSSA) Tests.
