Recital Information 2012

  1. Dress rehearsal- June 8th- 6:00pm at Braden Aud.- ISU
  2. Performance- June 9th -4:00 pm at Braden Aud. ISU.
  3. Tickets- RE; the rehearsal-You will receive 2 wristbands for 2 people to be admitted for dress rehearsal night. Dancers do not need a wristband. These must be signed for and can be picked up beginning May 21st in the office.

RE: the performance-Everyone entering the theater (or dressing rooms) must have a ticket. Dancers do not need a ticket to enter the theater. Tickets must be purchased at the Braden Box Office or through ticketmaster. All seats are reserved. If you want you dancers to sit with you, they must have a ticket. There are no exceptions. Tickets will be taken until 30 minutes past intermission.

  1. The required tights and shoes are listed on the costume posters. Please make sure

your student has the correct ones or he/she cannot perform.

  1. Minor costume alterations are your responsibility as stated on the costume measurement

form.

  1. All straps should be taken straight over the shoulder and pinned or tacked (unless

the costume poster shows otherwise. Hair should be secured of the face. All students should wear light make up so they do not wash out under the stage lights.

Your costumes(s) may be picked up then as long as your balance on the costumes and

lesson fees are paid in full for the entire year (9th and 10th term).

We will need a volunteer from each class to help them to the backstage area.

  1. You need to use the east lounge mainfloor entrance to the auditorium on dress rehearsal night. Dancers must enter through that entrance each night. Proceed down the hall and down the stairway to reach the dressing rooms.
  2. The program will be available on the website by June 3rd. Please download a copy to use before performance nights. There will be no programs available at the dress rehearsal. The website is
  3. No glitter spray or pens may be used . Please adhere to this new requirement.
  4. No parents will be allowed past the stage door. There will be volunteers assigned to line up each class and get them to the appropriate side for their entrance. Once at the entrance, the backstage staff will escort the class to the stage. They will then escort the class back to the entrance where the volunteer will get the class and take them back to the dressing room. You can meet your child there.

No extra students will be allowed backstage unless you are in line to perform. Classes should be lined up 6 numbers ahead of time.

Are required to take these items from you on performance nights and hold them until the end of the performance. DVD’s are available for purchase at the studio. You may place orders in the office.
