RE:New NOEP Coordinator Training

The NOEP Coordinator Summer Training will be held fromTuesday, August 15ththroughThursday, August 17th.Please review the following instructions for registration.

  1. The Training will begin on Tuesday, August 15that 1:00 PM. It will be held at the Hampton Inn & Suites Albany-Airport, 45 British American Boulevard, Latham.
  1. The Training will end on Thursday, August 17that approximately 3:00 PM.
  2. To ensure that New NOEP Coordinators receive the best training experience possible, Hunger Solutions New York requires that all participants remain for the entire duration of thetraining.
  1. A block of rooms has been reserved at the following hotel:

  1. Please ask for the Hunger Solutions New York “Hunger Solutions Group” block of rooms. This will ensure you receive the discounted rate of $149.00 per night.

***PLEASE NOTE: You must reserve your room by Friday, July 7thto take advantage of this group rate. After July 7th, any unreserved rooms will be released from the block, and you will need to pay standard rates for your room. ***

  1. This training is for New NOEP Coordinators only. “New NOEP Coordinators” are NOEPs that began after the January 2017 training, ORhave not yet completed the training. Exceptions may be made for seasoned NOEP Coordinators who would benefit from completing the NOEP 101 training again.
  1. If you will be attending the training,return the attached RSVP form to Paige Cerulli at: yFriday, July 7th, 2017.
  1. There will be three supplemental webinars for NOEP Coordinators to attend after the training. A webinar invitation will be emailed directly to participants. The dates and topics are as follows:
  1. Monday, August 21st at 2:00 – 4:00 pm – Overview of NOEP Online, including the outreach approval request process and quarterly reporting.
  2. Tuesday, August 22ndat 11:00 am – 12:00 pm – Child Nutrition 101
  3. Wednesday, August 23rdat 11:00 am– 12:00 pm – Senior Nutrition 101
  1. There will also be a NOEP Supervisor 101 webinar for those who oversee a NOEP project, including in introduction to the main policies of NOEP and program targets. This webinar will be held on Thursday, August 10that 2:00 – 4:00 pm. A webinar invitation will be sent out to all NOEP Supervisors. All are welcomed, however, this webinar is designed for new supervisors to the program.
