Dear Greendale Students and Parents of the Class of 2016:
Dear Senior Parent:
As you begin to consider having your student’s senior portraits taken, here is a list of guidelines to share with your photographer. You may have your senior photos taken anywhere you choose. Our Preferred Provider is Cilento Photography, located in Elm Grove, as we have had a long-standing relationship with them, and they do all the class and sports portraits for the school.
Because the yearbook is in color, it is important to have a uniform look to the photo submitted. The yearbook staff reserves the right to deny placement of photos that do not follow these guidelines or are inappropriate.
· Background must be a neutral color, ideally light gray – indoor or outdoor images are accepted.
· Head and shoulder shot – no close-up images will be accepted since we can’t crop them to fit the page
· No hands should be in the picture
· No props or hats
· Only color images – no black and white
· Head must be in the center of the photo
· Vertical
· Simple lighting – face should be clear in the photo
· All dress code rules apply
Submission Options:
· Wallet hard copy photo (2.5 inches x 3.5 inches), digital image, or CD with a digital image must be submitted to Kate Wagner, yearbook adviser, in Room 111.
· Digital images may be emailed. NOTE: Please be sure you get a response acknowledging the photos were received. Photos should be emailed to
To save money and time, you can also elect to use your student’s class ID photo from registration in August as the yearbook photo. The photo will be sent to the yearbook staff by the deadline.
Deadline for yearbook submission is Friday, December 18. If you have any questions regarding senior photos, please contact Kate Wagner ()
Sincerely,
Steven J. Lodes
