DRIVERS/OPERATORS

ACCOUNTABILITY

Tri-Hi Pressure Ltd. Drivers are accountable to Management and the Supervisor.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

Operate trucks; load, transport and unload or assist in unloading materials and supplies.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

·  High School Education and oilfield related experience.

·  Drivers license through an approved examination process matching the class of vehicle being operated.

·  Willing to take all required courses.

·  Willing to work on a 24 hour on call basis.

·  Comfortable working alone.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Drive Tri-Hi Pressure’s trucks to locations and perform required tasks.

·  Keep records of load being transported. (TDG Manifest, Tickets, Daily Hours)

·  Maintain telephone contact with dispatch to receive instruction or to be dispatched to new job. Call dispatch when leaving the job site and again when you arrive in Whitecourt. Ensure we know how to contact you at all times.

·  Maintain a log of daily driving hours ( start and stop times ). Make it available to an inspector upon request.

·  Follow all procedures and practices.

·  Inspect (pre-trips) and service trucks according to company standards. Perform monthly vehicle inspections to help prevent unnecessary problems.

·  Assist in loading and unloading truck manually.

·  Operate equipment to load and unload materials, equipment and supplies.

·  Properly fill out tickets for customers. And acquire Full name, phone number, signature, and fill out costs clearly and correctly.

·  Demonstrate professional, safe, defensive driving skills; capable of operating any time under varying weather, road and traffic conditions.

·  Operate vehicle in accordance with the hours of services limits.

·  Carry all MSDS sheet from customers in accordance with the Transportation of Dangerous Good Regulation. Submit MSDS sheets to office with daily paperwork.

·  Keep units CLEAN at all times. Inside trucks organized and free of debris. Outside washed.

·  Keep vehicles fluids topped up. Including Fuel, DEF, Air break antifreeze, Coolant.

·  Conduct yourself with pride, and professionalism while working for Tri-Hi Pressure.

HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Read, understand and comply with all government regulations, safety policies, work practices, procedures and rules of the Safety & Loss Prevention Program.

·  Protect yourself and others that can be affected by your actions.

·  Properly use and adequately care and maintain personal protective equipment that is required by Regulations and Tri-Hi Pressure Ltd.

·  Report all accidents, incidents, unsafe acts or conditions and near misses to management immediately.

·  Attend, and participate in safety meetings.

·  Participate in any training courses required.

·  Complete and carry all Tickets and Orientations as required.
