SUGGESTIONS FOR OUTREACH FOOD PANTRY!

CEREAL

Dear Friends of the Outreach Council,

Starting in January, we will be the only fulltime food pantry in Pike County because Community Action is closing its pantry at the end of 2014. Many households need to go to both pantries each week. We, therefore, need to provide additional food items to keep families from hunger. There are also many households who only go to the Community Action pantry which means even more food will be needed. We anticipate being busier than ever. (We are working on more storage space to store the additional food needed.) This will be a financial strain and I ask for you continued support in FEEDING OUR NEIGHBORS.

If you are able to volunteer in the pantry once a month, let me know. We could really use the help.

BLESS YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO FOR OUR COMMUNITY. JUDY D.

CAN YOU HELP SEND OUR TEENS TO THE 2015 MARCH FOR LIFE:

Sponsorships for those attending the March For Life are currently being accepted. You may donate through our parish for our teens who will be attending. Most of all, please pray for these young men and women who experience conversions associated with this pilgrimage. Forms on bulletin board.

SACRED HEART HOME ENTHRONEMENTS: You are invited to Enthrone your home to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This is a powerful way to promote spirituality in your family. A Team from the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart will lead your family through this process by visiting your home twice. The Missionaries at St. Peters are Bob and Kathy Dye and the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at or the convent at 740774-0474 or 740-500-0697. If interested, please give them a call or email. Visit our website at sacredheartcolumbus.org to learn more about this mission

From the Pastor’s Desk:

I will be away this week for a 10th year class reunion of my Josephinum classmates. Some of these fellow priests I have not seen since ordination as they serve in various dioceses throughout the country (including Sacramento, California, Austin, Texas, Wichita, Kansas, and a number of others dioceses).

Because of this there will be no Wednesday Mass this week. There will however be Adoration Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

In Christ,

Fr. Hahn
