- Updated MJHSAA Constitution & Handbook
- New volleyball(Mikasa MIP 300)
- Player registration fees due dates: October 31, January 30 & May 29
- Athlete Registration (Pink Cards)
- -Handbook/constitution has been updated. Check for errors in your sport
- -new out of town team request: Eyebrow 9-12 v’ball, Mortlach may also apply
- -may lead to new 9-12 league playoff
- -new commissioners list included
- -1 money transfer for all fall sports can be made
- -Discussion to use either the old pink medical card or the newer form
6.Athlete of the Month
- Award winner names/sport chosen for to Larry by noon on Friday, September 26 @ noon.
- Awards presentation to take place @ Vibe Graphics @ 12:30 on Wednesday, October 1.
7.Commissioner’s reports:
- Golf:Conference is set for Sept 15. Bantam golfers may participate and advance to district(Grade 9’s that are not on senior team) Provincial bookings are all made
- Football:E5’s due before first game. Sunday Oct 5 &12 are only eligible practice days. Leigh Pethick is new video recorder. Report to Larry if practicing at Gutheridge.
- Volleyball:C’port may now play senior boys. May lead to only 1 official at some games, SIAST is booked. 10 league nights (Tues/Thur). New MIP 300 ball in play. Confirm by Monday Sept 8 any junior team participation to Levi(include team name and coach names)
- Dustin Swanson: Motion for 2014-2015 school year that junior v’ball make exception to include 3 teams from 1 school if necessary (R.V.)
- D.S. Playoff eligibility be determined at October meeting (B.M.)

- VCI games will hopefully be rescheduled due to athletes’ attendance of student funeral.
- Play will be at Smith Field.
- Socerfest: Sept 19-20 (Vanier runs Canada Games field, PCI runs Smith field on Friday. Saturday will be determined) Tournament in jeopardy due to officials mileage cost

- SHSAA Information:
- SIAAA Conference in Saskatchewan on April 17 & 18, 2015.
- Congrats to Jeff Kitts, the new SHSAA Section 1 rep.
- Kevin will retire at end of 2015 school year. Lyle will take over. Interviews for Assistant Executive Director will take place in January.
- Review of SHSAA September 2014 Newsletter:
- Pages 2 & 3:Summary of passed resolutions. A complete listing of all passed & defeated resolutions was emailed in June and again on Friday, August 29.
- Page 3:Submit September 30 school enrolment to SHSAA web site by October 6.

- MJHSAA $1.00 per eligible grade 9 – 12 student fee for free entry into basketball & volleyball regular season games due by Friday, October 10/14.

10.New Business:
- SHSAA On-line Coaching Program for all new non-faculty coaches: “Fundamentals of Coaching.” Course can be found on the SHSAA web-site: “schoolcoach.ca”. There is a fee for this course.
