INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE UNDERMENTION SERVICES

Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) is embarking on a national programme of training and development in the taxi industry. This is top-up training to enable previously trained drivers to obtain a full qualification in Professional Driving. This initiative seeks to ensure long term sustainability of the Taxi Industry through the provision of customised training programmes and also improve safety of public transport.

Service:To invite proposals from interested TETA accredited training providers for implementation of a training and development project for the taxi industry in eight provinces.

  1. Tenders must be on official bid form, which shall be completed in all aspects, and all information must be supplied as stipulated in the tender document
  1. Hard copies of the document will be available from27 February 2012at R100.00and are obtainable at TETA, 344 Pretoria Avenue, Randburg, from Ms Elizabeth Skosana.
  1. Tender must be deposited in TETA’s bid box on or before 16 March 2012 not later than 11:00am (South African time). The bid box is situated at 344 Pretoria Avenue, Randburg.
  1. Envelopes must be addressed to TETA:

Procurement Officer, with the bid number TETA11/TC/0001 and closing date.

  1. The name and address of the tendering contractor must be endorsed on the back of the envelope.
  1. All TETA contracts awarded are subject to appeals being timeously lodged (if any) and letters of acceptance being issued.
