SUBJECT: York Commercial Comfort Systems (YCCS) Release Version 1.2

York Unitary Products is pleased to announce the release of the York Commercial Comfort Systems Version 1.2. This release enhances the current line of YCCS products offered by York. This complete product offering will allow you to compete with the Carrier 3V and Trane Tracker light commercial control and zoning systems.

New Enhancements:

Products – YCCS is a factory installed option for all York light commercial products including the Sunline and Predator packaged gas/electric, electric/electric, heat pumps and hot gas reheat models. The Predator split systems from 7.5 – 25 tons and Millennium split systems from 30-50 tons are also offered from the factory with the YCCS option.

VAV Zoning Application – VAV factory installed controllers are offered in all York 6.5 - 65 Ton Commercial Rooftops. The VAV Control is selectable in both UST and YORKworks.

VAV Terminal Boxes – Dedicated YCCS - VAV boxes are available without a fan or with a series or parallel fan option. Heating options include both electric heat and hot water.

JETT Software - Use the JETT Software to design, price, and create your submittals including product literatureto support your YCCS control quotes. JETT software is available for download at The software is located in the commercial equipment catalog under “Zoning Systems & Controls”. Installation user key (D104-I111-S123-T124)

Input / Output Module – The (YCCS) Input / Output module uses the System Manager to monitor and control auxiliary points in a facility.

Title 24 Support – All YCCS Systems are compliant with California Title 24 (except for the Small Sunline 3 - 6 ton product series because of limited control box space).

TEC Thermostats - TEC260x-4 thermostat controllers function with the (YCCS) System Manager to control heat pumps, single stage, and multi-stage heating/cooling equipment.

Ordering Processes:

YCCS Equipment Control Option – Select your “factory mounted” control option with UST when configuring the Roof Top or Split System equipment.

VAV Boxes – All YCCS VAV boxes must be configured and priced with JETT. The JETT software can create an order form that can be directly emailed to your appropriate Customer Sales Rep.

UST – The factory installed YCCS control option will be available in UST as of the publishing of this letter. YCCS components except for VAV Boxes can be selected with UST in the next release on 10-04-2011.

YCCS Buy Multipliers–Input Multipliers into the JETT Software tool in the preferences section. Price Categories for each component are also posted in the Price Pages.
