The Tournament Host Hotel is the Ramada Inn at 500 Merrimac Trail, Williamsburg, VA. Phone: 757-585-7100. There is plenty of parking for boats, the hotel offers free Wi-Fi Internet access, free daily breakfast buffet and a grab-and-go barista counter, spa, restaurant, bar, as well as a swimming pool. Guest rooms feature microwaves and refrigerators. The room rate will be $69/night. Make your reservations early by calling 757-585-7100 and indicate that you are with the Virginia Bass Chapter Federation to get the special tournament rate.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL BE UPDATED AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE:
We are offering a Virginia Boating Safety Class on Friday, 23 October, (the morning before the tournament) at the hotel. This course is required to be completed by ALL Virginia boat operators prior to 1 July 2016. So if you haven’t yet met the requirement this would be an excellent opportunity to do so. Reserve your seat at the class by contacting John Flicek (Va. DGIF Boating Safety Instructor) at .
The Pre-Tournament Meeting will be held at the hotel on Friday, 23 October. Ramp launch passes will be purchased at the meeting since we are required to collect and turn-in all ramp fees for the event (Ramp fees are $5 per day for James City County residents and $10 per day for non-residents).
The Pre-Tournament Meeting is to be a more festive occasion this year with several vendors tables planned on Friday evening and a cash bar before and following the meeting. Plan to come early and stay late to socialize with your fellow anglers.
