RACE STARTS AT 11AM - DROP FLAG- DEAD ENGINE. RACE WILL RUN FOR 1 HOUR + 1 LAP

RIDERS MUST COMPLETE 10 LAPS TO BE CLASSED AS A FINISHER

1. JURISDICTION: held under the National Sporting Code of the ACU, the Standing Motocross Regulations of the organising Centre, these Supplementary Regulations, and any final instructions that may be issued.

2. ENTRIES: Entry Fee £25 be sent to the Secretary of the Meetingwith completed entry form.

ACU day licence if required: £10 to be paid with entry. All cheques/po payable to NMCC Ltd.

Closing date: Monday 12 December 2011 NO LATE, DAY OR TELEPHONE ENTRIES CAN BE ACCEPTED

Numbers 1 to 55 being issued only on a first come first served basis

3. ELIGIBILITY: Closed to Club Event for fully paid up members of NMCC Ltd who joined by 01. 09. 11

ALL RIDERS WILL BE EXPECTED TO ATTEND THE WORKING PARTY BEFORE THE EVENT FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN YOUR ACCEPTANCE BEING REVOKED & A RESERVE RIDER TAKING YOUR PLACE

ALL RIDERS MUST ATTEND THE CLEARING UP PARTY ON 27TH DECEMBER–ANYONE FAILING TO ATTEND WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE RESULTS AND MAY BE REFUSED ENTRY TO WILD & WOOLLY 2012. PLEASE ATTEND THESE WORKING PARTIES: WE CANNOT RUN THIS EVENT WITHOUT ASSISTANCE FROM RIDERS

4. WORKING PARTY: SUNDAY 18TH DECEMBER 2011 at 10 a.m.

CLEARING UP PARTY TUESDAY 27TH DECEMBER 2011 at 10 a.m.

5. GENERAL: ALL RIDERS MUST PROVIDE A MARSHAL TO TAKE CHARGE OF A MARSHAL POINT, WHO MUST BE OVER 18 YRS OF AGE, MUST SIGN ON BEFORE PRACTICE & WEAR REFLECTIVE BIB PROVIDED. THIS MARSHAL MUST REMAIN AT THEIR POST AND IS NOT PERMITTED TO ASSIST ANY RIDER STUCK IN MUD. PLEASE NOMINATE YOUR MARSHALL ON THE ENTRY FORM.

6. COURSE: Length 1 mile approx - Prepare your bike for water & mud!

7. AWARDS: RIDERS CAN ONLY WIN ONE AWARD.

8. PADDOCK PASSwill be issued to each rider onacceptance of entry - this allows 1 rider & 1 mechanic in one vehicle into the pits. NO PIT BIKES OR QUADS WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PITS OR ELSEWHERE ON THE LAND.

9. NUMBER PLATE WASH PROVIDED: RIDERS FAILING TO STOP WILL HAVE 1 LAP DEDUCTED

10. REFUELLING AREA PROVIDED:REFUELLING CAN ONLY BE DONE IN THIS AREA - ENGINES TO BE CUT

11. MEDICATION: You may be asked to take part in drugs test: It is your responsibility to declare atsigning on if taking any drugs .

This event is held under the National Sporting Code of the Auto-Cycle Union, the Standing Regulations, Supplementary Regulations

and any Final Instructions issued for the meeting. The ACU National Sporting Code and Standing Regulations are published annually in the ACU Handbook.

Entry declaration: I / we the undersigned apply to enter the event described above and in consideration thereof:-

  • I / we hereby declare that I / we have had the opportunity to read, and that I / we understand the National Sporting Code of the ACU, the ACU Standing Regulations, such Supplementary Regulations as have or may be issued for the event, and agree to be bound by them.
  • I / we further declare that I am / we are physically and mentally fit to take part in the event and I am / we are competent to do so.
  • I / we confirm that I / we understand the nature and type of event we are entering and its inherent risks and agree to accept the same notwithstanding that such risks may involve negligence on the part of the organisers or officials.
  • I / we confirm that the machine(s) as described below which I / we compete on shall be suitable and proper for the purpose.
  • I / we confirm that if any part of the event takes place on a public highway, the machine(s) described below shall be insured as required by the Road Traffic Acts, or equivalent legislation, and that it / they will comply with the regulations in respect thereof.
  • I / we agree that I am / we are required to register our arrival by “signing on” at the designated place not less than 30 minutes prior to commencement of my/our practice or first competition, whichever occurs first.

Acknowledgement of the risks of motorsport: I / we understand that by taking part in this event I / we are exposed to a risk of death, becoming permanently disabled or suffering some other serious injury and I / we acknowledge that even in the event that negligence on the part of the ACU, the promoter, the organising club, the venue owner, or any individual carrying out duties on their behalf were to be a contributory cause of any serious injury I / we may suffer, the dominant cause of any serious injury will always be my / our voluntary decision to take part in a high risk activity.
