APO 2008 National Convention Subcommittee

Chapter Interest and Information Form

The biennial Alpha Phi Omega National Convention is an unparalleled celebration of Leadership Development, Fellowship/Friendship and Service, where more than two thousand members of Alpha Phi Omega unite for four incredible days.

Hosting such a memorable event is an extraordinary opportunity to serve the Fraternity and an experience you will never forget! Many Chapters will be actively participating in the National Convention Planning Committee by managing a Planning Subcommittee but everyone in Region I shares the honor of being a host Brother.

Please take some time to review the Alpha Phi Omega 2008 National Convention Planning Committee document prior to completing this form. An online version can be found at nuts-and-bolts manual is based on recent National Conventions, and details much of the responsibilities of each subcommittee. You supply much of the creativity. Note that while your Chapter may be managing a subcommittee, supplementary volunteer needs are typically recruited from other Chapters before and during the convention, so don’t let high on-site staffing estimates put you off.

Please elaborate on any of your answers to help us understand your interests and skills. And feel free to contact either of us at t any time. We’re looking forward to helping you create something great in 2008!
