Professional Profile
Thomas A. Fotiadis, is As. Prof. of Marketing at the Democritus University of Thrace, at the dept. of Production and Management Engineering since 2014. He is also the Director of the Marketing Lab of the aforementioned department.
He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing, and also an M.B.A. and a M.Sc. in Business Computing. His first degree is in Economic Science. He has over 17 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, at several public and non-public Hellenic and International Universities and Technological Universities among which are the University of Macedonia, the Democritus University of Thrace, the University of Cyprus, the Frederick University of Cyprus, the Hellenic Open University, and the Open University of Cyprus.
In addition to teaching experience at tertiary level, he has several years of professional experience in the education sector. He has published his research work in several international peer reviewed journals, among which are the Journal of World Business, the Journal of Tourism Management, the Journal of International Marketing, the Journal of International Business Review, the Psychology and Marketing journal, the Journal of Applied Business Research, and the International Journal of Technology Marketing. He has more than 50 publications in journals, international conferences and book chapters. He is the co-author of the book "Marketing and Supply Chain Management: A Systemic Approach (1st edition), Routledge Publications”, as well as of the book "Marketing of High- Technology and Industrial Products (1st edition), Livanis Publications".
