  • NotoriousInter-State robber Harun Pasha @ Salim carrying a reward of Rs. 50000/- arrested.
  • Mastermind of MS Park ATM Cash Van robbery apprehended.

A team of Special Cell led by Inspector Shiv Kumar under the supervision of Sh. Satyavir Singh, ACP, has arrested a notorious and desperate interstate robber Harun Pasha @ Salim @ Sonu (aged 37 years) R/ Moradabad, UP and recovered a country made pistol of 315 bore with 5 live cartridges. He is involved in 16 cases of attempt to murder, robbery, extortion, Arms Act, theft and snatching in Delhi and UP. He was also booked under Gangster Act of UP. A reward of Rs. 50000/- has been declared by Delhi Police for his arrest. He is wanted in a sensational case of robbery of Rs. 39 lakhs cash from ATM van in the area of M.SPark, Delhi. He was released on bail in various cases but he was not appearing in concerned courts.

An information was received by Inspr. Shiv Kumar that a notorious robber Harun Pasha @ Salim @ Sonu is active in the area of Delhi and NCR. Both human and technical surveillance was mounted to trace the whereabouts of robber. After working hard for more than four months on 06.11.13, Inspr. Shiv Kumar received specific information that Harun Pasha @ Salim @ Sonu would come near flyover Anand Vihar Railway Station, Delhi to meet his associates. A trap was laid near flyover of Anand Vihar Railway Station, Delhi. At about 05:10 PM, Harun Pasha @ Salim @ Sonu was apprehended. A country made pistol of 315 bore with five live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Accordingly a case vides FIR No. 47/13 under Arms Act was registered at PS Special Cell, New Delhi.

MODUS OPERANDI:

The modus operandi of the gang of Harun Pasha is that they steel two wheelers/four wheelers and use them to commit highway robberies and other offences. They target rich shop owners carrying huge cash and valuables at gun point. Whenever they were arrested, they gave the fictitious identity and fake addresses so that their previous involvements are not known to the investigating agencies.

Profile :-

Harun Pasha @ Salim @ Sonu S/o Mohd. Ali was born in the year of 1976. His father was a farmer. He completed his primary education from his village. Thereafter he left studies and started doing farming. He married to Shamima Begum r/o Yamuna Vihar, Delhi. After three years he left his village and shifted in Delhi and started working in Cycle Rickshaw garage in Kamla Market, Delhi.

PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS :-

  1. In the year 2006, while working in a cycle rickshaw garage in Kamla Market, Delhi he befriended Vinod @ Pepsi r/o Sangam Vihar, Delhi who introduced him to Javed, Israil, Bada Vinod all r/o Sangam Vihar, Delhi. They formed a gang and robbed a person at a gun point near petrol pump Defence Colony, Delhi. After 10 days the gang were arrested by the police after an encounter. He remained in Jail for 6 months after release from Jail. He again worked in garage for about one year.
  1. In June-July 2008, he came in contact with Imran r/o Dilshad Colony, Delhi and Ankit r/o Ghaziabad,UP and they looted Rs one lac at gun point from a shop near Mrig Nanyani Chowk, DilshadGarden, Delhi. Later on, he was arrested in this case but was released on bail.
  1. In January 2010, he along with his associates Ismail and Akram snatched a bag containing Rs 60,000/- at gun point from a person in Paharganj, Delhi.
  1. In the year of 2010, he along with his associate Ankit looted a mobile shop in DLF, Bhopura, Ghaziabad, UP. After 10 days of this incident he was arrested by Special Cell, Delhi Police in an Arms Act and he remained in Jail for 10 months.
  1. In November 2010, he along with his associate Imran snatched a bag containing artificial jewellery from a person in Maurya Enclave, who was about to sit in his car. In the same month he along with his associate Imran had stolen a motor cycle from Gandhi Market, DDA Flat, Delhi.
  1. After his release from Jail he along with his associate Imran made an attempt to loot a cloth Godown at gun point in Vijay Vihar,Delhi. They were apprehended and remained in Jail for about 21 months.

RECENT INVOLVEMENTS :

  1. In June 2013 he along with his associates Azim r/o Welcome, Nazim r/o Ghonda, Haaris r/o Mustfabad and Rais looted at gun point Rs.2.50 lacs from a office in Subhash Park, Delhi. The gang used a Wagon R car of Nazim with fake number plate.
  1. In first week of August 2013, he along with Nazim, Azim and Masroor looted a cash of rupees 37.50 lacs at gun point from cash ATM van from M.S Park, Delhi The gang used a Wagon R car of Nazim with fake number plate. His three associates were later arrested but he remained at large.

A team of officers of Special Cell led by Insp. Attar Singh, under the supervision of Ved Parkash, ACP has busted an interstate narcotic drug syndicate and have arrested its three members (1) Bal Kishan @ Sunny (aged-19 years) (2) Devender Kumar @ Situ (aged 23 years) both R/o Sultan Puri, Delhi (3) Shoaib (aged-22 years) R/o Bareilly, UP and recovered 2.250 Kgs fine quality of heroin. International value of recovered heroin is more than Rs. 08 Crore.

An information was received by Insp. Attar Singh about a drug syndicate active in the city few months back. SI Parveen Kumar, SI Sandeep Kumar and SI Jitendra Tiwari kept surveillance over the activities of members of this syndicate for four months. On 06/11/2013 specific information was received that Kingpin of this syndicate had sent his carrier Shoaib Hussain to deliver a big consignment of heroin to Devender @ Situ and Bal Kishan @ Sunny in the area of Jafrabad. Accordingly, a trap was laid near Govt.BoysSeniorSecondary School, Jafrabad three persons were spotted. When contrabands exchanged hands trio were apprehended. One Kg heroin was recovered from Bal Kishan @ Sunny. Another 500 grams heroin was recovered from the possession of Shoaib Hussain. One Ecco Car used in transportation of heroin has also been seized. Seven mobile were also recovered from the possession of accused persons. A case FIR No. 48 dated. 6/11/13 under NDPS Act has been registered at PS Special Cell.

All three arrested drug traffickers were subjected to sustained interrogation wherein they disclosed that they are part of big narcotics racket indulging in trafficking of heroin in the city. It was also revealed that the arrested Devender and Bal Kishan used to procured heroin from a drug supplier based in Bareilly, U.P through carriers. Shoaib Hussain, carrier of drug suppy also disclosed that he had been indulging in supply of heroin in Delhi at instance of his master. Two drug traffickers Devender and Bal Kishan made small pouches of heroin and then sold it in and around Sultan Puri. At the instance of Bal Kishan @ Sunny a raid was also conducted at a house in Kumhar Basti, Sultan Puri, Delhi and 750 gms of heroin was recovered.

Profile of arrested accused persons :-

  1. Bal Kishan @ Sunny (aged- 19 yrs) is studying in class 10th in a Govt.School, in Sultan Puri, Delhi. His father is a TSR driver. He is eldest of four brothers. His mother Ashawati is also involved in supply of heroin and she had introduced him in drug trafficking. Since he was juvenile, she uses him as carrier of heroin so that in case he is arrested by the police Bal Kishan may get benefit of being juvenile. Ashawati has been previously arrested in five cases including one of NDPS Act.
  2. Shoaib Hussain (aged-22 years) He is an illiterate and hails from Bareilly, UP. His father works as a conductor in private buses and jeeps in the Bareilly, UP. He is eldest of three brothers and three sisters. Due to poverty and illiteracy he dabbled in many labour jobs in Bareilly, UP. The kingpin of the heroin syndicate is a resident of his village when brother of Shoaib Hussain fractured leg in an accident he financially helped Shoaib. He then lured Shoaib Hussain to work as carrier of heroin. Sohaib has been working as carrier of heroin for last six months.
  3. Devinder Kumar (aged- 23 yrs) is 11th class pass. His father is a retired conductor of Haryana Roadways. Devender has four brothers. Devender works as a driver. Bal Kishan lured him to work as a driver and he drove Ecco car used in transporting the Heroin.

Efforts are on to apprehend the kingpin of the racket. Further investigation is in progress.

The Staff of Police Station Kirti Nagar, West Distt. has solved a snatching case by arresting two snatchers namely Avtar Singh and Sumit and recovered the property.

INFORMATION AND OPERATION

On 4.11.2013, Birbal S/o Sh. Lal Bahadur Poddar R/o 92/8, WHS Block-2 Kirti Nagar was going to Mayapuri Chowk along with his friend Ramu. When he reached near ICICI Bank, Rama Road, three boys came on Scooter No. DL3SY-2190 stopped him and snatched his purse. He shouted for help and caught one boy namely Avtar Singh with the help of his friend Ramu, however, other managed to escape.

On the complaint of Birbal a case FIR No. 415/2013 dated 4.11.2013 U/s 379/356/34 IPC was registered at P.S. Kirti Nagar. Immediately, a team under the supervision of Sh. Eish Singhal, (IPS), ACP/RG, led by Insp. Ram Kishan, SHO/Kirti Nagar, comprising of SI Ram Phool No. D-4199, SI Sanwar Mal No. D-2659, Ct. Jai Bhagwan No. 2921/W and Ct. Ankit Kumar No. 1670/W was formed to nab the accused. During interrogation, accused Avtar Singh disclosed the name of his associate i.e. Sumit. Several raids were conducted on hide outs of Sumit. Later on Sumit was apprehended and case property was recovered from his possession.

On further interrogation they have disclosed their involvements in case FIRs No. 388/13 U/s 356/379 IPC P.S. Kirti Nagar, 308/13 U/s 379/34 IPC P.S. Kirti Nagar, 380/13 U/s 379/356 IPC P.S. Kirti Nagar and FIR No.275/13 U/s 379/34 IPC P.S. Kirti Nagar. Efforts are on to finalize the case.

Jagannath Rath Yatra on 09-11-2013

International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), is taking out it’s annual Lord Jagnnath Rath Yatra at 12:00 noon on 09/11/2013. The procession comprising of raths, jhankies, bands, tempos/cars etc will take the following route:

START FROM PARADE GROUND OPP. RED FORT – NETAJI SUBHASH MARG – ASAF ALI ROAD – AJMERI GATE - SHARDHANANDMARG – KHARI BAOLI- FATEHPURI – CHANDNI CHOWK – AND RETURN TO PARADE GROUND.

Since the procession will move on heavily congested roads of North and Central Delhi, it will affect the movement of traffic from 12.00 Noon to 08:00 PM, along and in the vicinity of the route. Traffic will be diverted as and when required according to the position of the procession.

Suggested Routes:

People coming from South Delhi and New Delhi areas and wanting to go to Old Delhi Railway Station and ISBT can use Ring Road, Chhatta Rail road and S.P. Mukherjee Marg. People coming from North Delhi and going towards New Delhi Railway Station can use Rani Jhansi Road, Panchkuian Road and Chelmsford Road.

Special instruction to general public

  1. The commuters going to New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway station, Nizamuddin Railway Station and ISBT should plan their journeys accordingly and leave before time so that possible delay in routes can be taken into account.
  2. Avail public transport to help decongestion of roads.
  3. Park vehicles only at designated parking lots.
  4. Avoid roadside parking as it causes hindrance to normal flow of traffic.
  5. In case of any untoward/unusual activity, movement of any suspicious looking person or detection of unidentified object, information may immediately be given to the Police Control Room or nearest policeman on duty.

There is likelihood of slowing down and congestion of traffic along the route of the Yatra. Motorists are requested to have patience, co-operate and follow the directions of the traffic police men posted all along the route of procession to avoid inconvenience.

UNIQUE MODUS OPERANDI OF AUTOLIFTERS

TWO NOTORIOUS AUTO LIFTERS OF “DEEPAK KHANNA @ TUSHAR GANG” ARRESTED.

14 CARS HAVE BEEN RECOVERED.

09 CASES OF MV THEFTS HAVE BEEN WORKED OUT.

INTRODUCTION:-

Crime Branch has arrested two auto lifters namely Deepak Khanna @ Tushar and Ajit Singh, who are indulging in stealing of luxury cars in Delhi, NCR, Chandigarh and Punjab. 14 cars have beenrecovered from their possession.

TEAM & OPERATION:-

On 30.10.2013, HCs Jitender and Deepak Tyagi received a secret information that two persons namely Deepak Khanna @ Tushar and Ajit Singh would come near Pragati Maidan in a stolen Tata Safari vehicle for stealing other cars. Immediately, a team led by Inspectors Padam Singh Rana and Arun Chauhan and comprising of SI Ajit Singh, ASI Harsh Vardhan, HCs Jitender, Deepak Tyagi, Upender, Krishan, Azad, Karamvir, Kamal, Consts Jagat Nagar, Rupesh, Manjeet and Manoj Tyagi under the supervision of ACP Om Prakash Singh and over all guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh was constituted to work on the information and nab the culprits. A trap was laid and on the instance of the informer, one Tata Safari car was stopped and two persons were apprehended, who were later identified as Deepak Khanna @ Tushar and Ajit Singh. The auto-search revealed that this Tata Safari is a stolen vehicle.

INTERROGATION:-

Both the accused were subjected to intensive interrogation. On sustained interrogation, their identity came out as 1. Deepak Khanna @ Tushar (age 35 years) s/o Chaman Lal r/o J-3/130, Rajouri Gardan, Delhi and 2. Ajit Singh (age 21 years) s/o Amar Jeet r/o H-1/86, Vikas Puri, Delhi. Fourteen vehicles have been recovered at their instance and nine cases have been worked out as under:-

After that, he started working in a private firm in Vikas Puri. In 1997, he started stealing cars to earn more money to fulfill his wishes. After being released from jail, he opened a car accessory shop in RajouriGarden. He is fond of lavish life style and keeping luxurious vehicles and also staying in expensive hotels. He has many girl friends and used to spent huge money on them. He is married and has three children, who are studying in private schools. He also runs an auto sale purchase shop in the name of SPR Motors in Sec. 24, Rohini.

Due to poverty, he started working with co- accused Deepak Khanna at his Auto sale purchase shop in Sec-24, Rohini. He studied upto 10th class. He was not satisfied with his earnings and wanted to earn more and more money in short span of time. In lieu of earning easy money, he started stealing cars with Deepak, Ram & Arvinder Pal.
