The primary responsibilities are as follows:
· Perform language pre-sales analysis for customer (Microsoft – MBS);
· Drive language pre-production on project files assigned and write language instructions (Language Kit), including methodology and translation tools to be used and update is when necessary;
· Verify integrity and usability of customer glossaries, style guides, TMs and other reference materials from a linguist point of view before distribution to all language teams;
· Define the most suitable methodology and tools to be used for terminology management and translation memory management in conjunction with CAT/Engineering;
· Manage global language queries internally, previously filtered by representatives of the local offices, using an online query database available for this purpose and the customer specific bug/query database (Product Studio);
· Filter and forward unresolved language queries to the customer when all internal resolution avenues have been explored;
