Open House Award (Fall)

From: District 23

Dates: July 1, 2014 – September 30, 2014

Who’s Eligible: All Clubs

Description:

Clubs must hold an Open House between July 1st and September 30th and have a net growth of four (4)new members reflected on October 1st. Clubs must create an invitation / flier and record attendance of guests.

A)Each club who gains a net of four (4)new members who were guests at the Open House will be eligible to receive one (1) FREE Conference registration to the District 23 FALL Conference

B)Conference Registration is non-Transferable or bankable

How to Claim: Send an email to Lt Governor Marketing Natalie Waters () that includes the invitation/flier and the legible list of Open House guests before October 15th, 2014.

Building Strong Leaders Award

From: District 23

Dates: July 1, 2014 – August 30, 2014; January 1, 2015 – February 28, 2015

Who’s Eligible: All Clubs

Description:

A)Before August 30, 2014, all clubs with at least four (4) officers trained at a Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) will earn one chance in a drawing for a FREE Conference Registration. Clubs with all seven (7) officers trained at a Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) will earn two chances in a drawing for a FREE Conference Registration.

B)Between January 1, 2015 and February 28, 2015, all clubs with at least four (4) officers trained at a Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) will earn one chance in a drawing for a FREE Conference Registration. Clubs with all seven (7) officers trained at a Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) will earn two chances in a drawing for a FREE Conference Registration.

New Club Award

Dates: July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015

Who’s Eligible: All New Clubs

Description:

All new clubs chartered between July 1st and June 30th will receive a new branded customized banner (Item 322) and banner bag (Item 325) for transport.

How to Claim: Automatic – no action required by recipients

Distribution: District Governor will mail New Club Banners and carrying bag directly to Club Presidents upon receipt.

Club Membership Contest (Smedley Award)

From: District 23

Dates: August 1, 2014 – September 30, 2014

Who’s Eligible: All Clubs

Description:

In honor of Dr. Ralph Smedley, clubs adding five new, dual, or reinstated members between August and September receive a "Smedley Award" ribbon to display on your club’s banner. In addition to the ribbon, qualifying clubs earn a special discount code for 10-percent off their next club order. Perfect 14 - Strong Leaders Award

Who’s Eligible: All Clubs

Description:

According to Toastmasters International records, All clubs with a perfect fourteen (14) officers trained as a result from both Toastmasters Leadership Institute (TLI) sessions will earn a $50 Toastmasters International Gift Certificate (Certificate is non-Transferable or bankable).

Open House Award (Spring)

Who’s Eligible: All Clubs

Description:

Club Membership Contests (Talk Up Toastmasters Award)

Dates: February 1, 2015 – March 31, 2015

Who’s Eligible: All Clubs

Description:

Clubs are encouraged to invite guests to a special meeting where regular procedures are augmented by a discussion of Toastmasters' many benefits. Add five new, dual or reinstated members to your roster between February 1 and March 31 to receive a special "Talk up Toastmasters" ribbon to display on your club’s banner. In addition to the ribbon, qualifying clubs earn a special discount code for 10-percent off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.)

Education & Leadership Award

Who’s Eligible: All Toastmasters

Description:

Members who earn a communication award (Competent Communicator or Advanced Communication) or earn a leadership award (Competent Leader, Advanced Leader, Distinguished Toastmaster) award in the first 3 quarters of the Toastmasters year are entered into a drawing for one (1) FREE Conference Registration. Education awards must be posted and recognized by Toastmasters International current year education achievements web page ( by March 31, 2015. The FREE conference registration is transferable, only once, to another Toastmaster or Non-Toastmasters to attend the District 23 Spring Conference.

Distinguished Club Award

Description:

While deadlines are important – beating them is better! All clubs that attain Distinguished recognition according to Toastmasters International Dashboard by April 15th, 2015 will receive a $25 Toastmasters International Gift Certificate (non-Transferable or bankable).

Triple Crown Award

Members who achieve three education awards or more in the single program year will earn a Triple Crown Pin (Item 5909) as acknowledgement. Education awards must be posted and recognized by Toastmasters International current year education achievements web page (

Sponsorship Membership Award

Who’s Eligible: All Toastmasters

Members who sponsor of five (5) new memberswill qualify to receive a unique sponsor's pin. Members who sponsor ten (10) new memberswill qualify to receive a special sponsor’s pin. Members who achieve the pinnacle of Toastmasters International educational program by attaining their DTM will be invited to attend the District Conference Distinguished Toastmasters Award Ceremony, receive a DTM Medallion, a DTM Badge. Education awards must be posted and recognized by Toastmasters International current year education achievements web page (

Distribution: The Distinguished Toastmasters Award Ceremony is held at the Fall and Spring District 23 Conference annually. Recipients will be invited to attend the District 23 Conference closest to the date of their DTM attainment.

Club Membership Contests (Beat the Clock Award)

Who’s Eligible: All Clubs

Description:

Make this a contest in your club to encourage every member to get involved. Clubs adding five new, dual or reinstated members during May and June receive a "Beat the Clock" ribbon to display on the club’s banner.
