/ Bactericidal Activity
  • EN 1500 –In vivo test (uses E.coli). Passes using 3ml for 15 seconds.
  • EN 1276 - Passes on Staphylococcus aureus, Enterococcus hirae, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa after 1 minute contact time at 20ºC. All log reductions were >5 (>99.999% reduction in the number of bacteria).
  • Rapid Germicidal Activity - Time-kill studies have been performed on 29 bacteria. All killed in 15 seconds with a >99.999% reduction (>log 5) in the number of bacteria.

Fungicidal Activity
  • EN 1275 – Passes on Candida albicans (yeast) and Aspergillus niger (mould) after 1 minute contact time at 20ºC. Both log reductions >4 (>99.99% reduction in the number of fungi).
  • Rapid Germicidal Activity: time-kill studies have been performed on 2 yeasts. Both kill in 15 seconds with a >99.999% reduction (>log 5) in the number of yeasts.

  • Human Rotavirus – 99.999% (log 5.19) reduction in 30 seconds

Toxicological Data:

  • Independent Dermatological Test - Primary skin irritation(48hr patch test). This shows that the product is suitable for use as a ‘leave-on’ product and that the claim ‘Dermatologically Tested’ can be made.
  • Independent Toxicological Assessment – conducted to ensure that the formulation meets European Cosmetic Regulations.
  • Independent Hypoallergenicity Test – assessment by a toxicologist to establish that the product can be claimed to be hypoallergenic.

  • Works instantly and dries quickly with no need for rinsing with water or drying with towels.
  • Foam spreads easily – no spills or splashes and no wastage.
  • Does not contain gelling agents, so no sticky afterfeel and no clogged dispensers.
  • Non tainting - independent tests prove that the product is suitable for use by food handlers.
  • Compatible with natural rubber (latex) and nitrile gloves – these types of gloves can be donned after rubbing the product to dryness.
  • Contains conditioners to help prevent skin dryness. In vivo tests show product does not have a drying effect on the skin.
  • Conditioners leave skin feeling soft and smooth for an excellent afterfeel.

Usage:
Apply to physically clean hands and rub thoroughly, ensuring all areas are covered, until dry.
Use for rapid disinfection of hands before entering high risk areas.
Storage:
Store in a cool dry area. Protect from extremes of temperature.
