Instructions
1. Paint inside of pot and rim Sweet Pea; paint outside of pot Blue Bahama. Let dry thoroughly.
2. Tape Chaco paper, then duck pattern to pot. Trace pattern onto pot with stylus.
3. Paint ducks Cloud White. (This will give opaque basecoat and provide brighter coverage of topcoat color.)
4. Paint ducks Fiesta Yellow and beaks Tiger Lily Orange. Let dry, and then add second coat of color to each.
5. Dip corner of wet #12 shader brush into Tiger Lily Orange. Holding brush upright, stroke brush on palette with moderate pressure. Lift brush and repeat in same spot, blending paint into bristles.
6. Position corner of brush against interior edge of duck, then gently stroke brush along edge of duck to apply Tiger Lily Orange shading. Reload brush with paint when necessary, blending paint across bristles. Finish shading edges of ducks, then shade wing areas in same manner.
7. Thin Royal Fuchsia with water to make it more transparent. Use #3 round brush to pick up some paint, then pat most of moisture onto paper towel. Dry-brush cheek area onto ducks.
8. Use brush handle to dot ducks' eyes with Wrought Iron Black. When dry, dot eyes and cheeks with Cloud White.
9. After all three ducks are painted, paint water area with Hydrangea Blue. Paint "QUACK, QUACK" with Hydrangea Blue.
10. Use sponge pouncer to apply random Sweet Pea circles on pot. Use pouncer to apply Blue Bahama circles between words "QUACK" on pot rim.
11. Use brush handle to dot five circle petals around Blue Bahama circles.
12. Fill pot with baby items.
