This workshop will present evidence-based information for evaluating and treating English Language Learners (ELLs) suspected of having communication disorders. It will also address cultural differences among several minority populations, and working with interpreters.

3.  Differentiate communication disorders and communication differences in multicultural populations

4.  Design an assignment appropriate for a non-English speaking child

5.  Design intervention strategies appropriate for bilingual children

6.  Describe three critical guidelines for working with an interpreter
