If the tattoo is in a position that may be visible whilst wearing uniform, you must also include a photograph of you wearing your short sleeved uniform shirt. The head of PSD will then make a decision as to whether or not you must wear long sleeved uniform whilst on duty.
If the tattoo is on the wrist you must also include photographs (close up and a distance one) wearing a watch.
Important note: If you are considering having any new tattoos at any point during the recruitment process, you must made the HR Resourcing Team aware and you must provide details and photographs as above. Any new tattoos will be assessed by PSD and if they do not fall in line with the Appearance Standard Policy then your application will be withdrawn.
