CHILI FD EXEMPT CLUB BREAKFAST MEETING MINUTES

Meeting called to order at 10:35 am by President Kolb.

President Kolb has posted the Exempt Calendar for 2017 on line. Please let him know if you are having any difficulty opening it, and reading it.
Treasurer Auerhahn read the Treasurer’s Report as of February 15, 2017.

President Kolb passed around a copy of the proposed budget for 2018 for our Club. He will be turning this document in to the CFD Business office this week.
Secretary Youngblood read an acknowledgement received from the Schwab Family for the donation our Club made in memory of Keith Schwab’s Father.
A thank you letter was received from Chili FD President Leahy for the Club’s ‘pass the hat’ recent donation to the NY Warrior Alliance.
Secretary Youngblood asked those in attendance to consider entertaining a Motion to proceed with reserving a Limo Bus with S&S Limousine for each of our two upcoming Exempt Club Bus Trips in June and August, 2017. She told the group that in the past, we had used Mancuso Limo and as of this date, they have not responded to her inquiry for a reservation for the two dates. Therefore, she had asked for price quotes from Platinum Limousine in Avon, NY and from S&S Limousine in Leroy, NY. S&S Limousine offered the best price, with a discount if we booked both dates by the end of February. The cost to the club would be $950 for each roundtrip. This is $200 more per trip than we had been paying in the past with Mancuso. S&S would be providing a 27 passenger bus for $950 + gratuity for each trip, which is a guaranteed price by February 28.
Motion to reserve the 27 passenger limo bus with S&S Limousine for our June 10 and our August 26 bus trips at the cost of $950 per roundtrip, with a deposit required of 1/3 the total cost of $1900: Jack Whitley

Secretary Youngblood stated that details will be announced soon for the June bus trip to Buffalo, including a Buffalo Harbor cruise, a tour of the Packard Car Museum, with an option to go to the casino in Downtown Buffalo, for anyone who does not want to go on the cruise and the museum tour.
In addition, details will be announced regarding the August bus trip to Corning Glass Works.
