CHAPTER 15 and 16 PROJECT

EXTRA CREDIT PROJECT!!

Due Wednesday, May 27

Choose one of the following topics:

- The Scientific Revolution (ch 15)

- The Age of Exploration (ch 15)

- The Age of Enlightenment (ch 16)

In order to earn extra credit you MUST:

1. READ the information about your topic from your textbook (other reliable sources are okay to use AFTER). Lesson summaries are available on Classzone.com

2. WRITE Notes about your topic about the most important details and information

3. PLAN and REHEARSE a short presentation to TEACH this information to the class. (3-5 minutes)

4. TYPE or WRITE out the information and presentation notes for me to see

5. PRESENT and TEACH the class. Your information and presentation MUST include the following:

-Information about at least 2 important people and their contributions

-A clear explanation of the key terms and names involved with your topic

-A connection: How do the ideas you researched connect with life today?

-A visual aid of some sort- a poster, PowerPoint (saved as a .ppt file), video, picture book- be creative! This should help teach more about your topic!
