Canterbury Ladies had a better result than the Men when the club was visited by Spring Park. The ladieswon on 4 of there games with only 1 loss. Winning the game 94 – 54.

The Men lost by 106 –119. Only winning 3 of the 6.

Despite winning on 3 and drawing on 1 rink Canterbury lost to Birchington 86 – 99.

2.1/2 to 5.1/2 points. Which gave Birchington a clear win for the 2017 league title.

Canterbury Hosted the Annual District Rotary Club Bowling Tournament.

Ten teams played a round robin of five games which ended with a draw between the Crayford team and Canterbury B. The win went to the Crayford side on ends won. But as the team were not all Rotarions the Tony Hendry Trophy was won by Canterbury B of Les Stevenson. Robert Yonge and Captain Brian Wheeler.

The Trophywas presented by Carol VizzardThe New District Governer.
