Demonstrations of your talents and crafts are always encouraged in addition to selling your wares. Will

Please include with your application two (2) photographs or slides of your work labeled with your name. All vendors must comply with the WESTERN theme of Buffalo Barbecue to be considered for one of the highest trafficked weekends of the year. 12’ x12’ booth, security, and Town of Grand Lake business license fee: $275.00. Chamber Members always pay $25 for a booth at any event; it is $275 annually to receive all benefits of being a Chamber member. Member crafts must also comply to the Western theme.

Non-Members may pay $500 up-front to be in all three art shows.

Boardwalk positions are first come first serve and must be requested. Attendees must have paid for their space in order to receive priority space selection. Boardwalk - YES/NO

ELIGIBILITY

This show is open to artist who exhibit work of their own concept, design and execution, in all media. This

show is juried to ensure the overall quality and balance of the Festival. Each participant is responsible for

insurance and sale of his or her own work. IMPORTED OR COMMERCIAL ITEMS WILL NOT BE

CONSIDERED OR PERMITTED. Misrepresentation at any level will be grounds for removal from the

show and all future shows in Grand Lake presented by the Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

PHOTOS

Two (2) photos or slides will be submitted with the application form labeled with your name.

Alternatively, you may list your website on the application page and we will review your images there.

These will be used to determine approval of your application. They must represent your work fairly and

accurately. No photos will be returned.

SELECTION/NOTIFICATION

A committee of jurors will jury all applications. Entries will be considered solely on the merits of work

pictured in the submitted photos/slides. Only merchandise juried and accepted by the jury committee will

be allowed into the Festival. The decisions of the jury committee are final. Participation in previous year’s

Festivals does not ensure acceptance for 2014.

FEES

Individual booth fee is $190.00. The fee includes a $15.00 business license for the Town of Grand Lake,

and overnight security. The booth fee is not refundable after July 1st, 2014. If the jury committee

does not accept you into the Festival, your booth fee will be returned. No commission is charged on your

sales.

EXHIBIT SPACE

A 12x12’ booth space is provided and will be assigned by the Grand Lake Festival of Arts and Crafts. No

tables or chairs are included. NO STAKES ARE TO BE USED TO SECURE TENTS. There is to be a

representative at the Park at all times on both days of the festival. NO ELECTRICITY IS AVAILABLE.

The festival is held outdoors so suitable protection from the elements is encouraged. There is no rain date.

SALES TAX

The applicable taxes are: Town of Grand Lake (4%), Grand County (1%),State of Colorado (2.9%). The

total tax to be collected is 7.9% and is to be submitted to the Colorado Department of Revenue. Town of

Grand Lake business license must be displayed in your booth at all times, not displaying the license could

result in your removal from the Festival.

SETUP AND TEARDOWN

Setup may begin on Friday July 18th, 2013 at 3PM or Saturday July 19th, 2014 after 8AM. Setup may not begin before that time. Tear down may not begin before 4PM on Sunday, July 20th, 2014.

OPERATIONAL HOURS

Attendees are required to keep their booths open from 10 am- 4 pm both fair days. Attendees may continue to stay open during daylight hours on event days if they choose. Attendees may not open on Friday.

SECURITY

Security will be provided Saturday, July 19th, 2014 from 9PM to 8AM Sunday July 20th, 2014.

There will be no security on Friday night.

PUBLICITY AND PHOTOGRAPHS

The Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce may photograph or record any and/or all participants and

booths. The Chamber will own these photographs and recordings. All entrants consent to the use of their

name, photograph, likeness, voice and/or video for advertising and promotional purposes, including online announcements worldwide without additional compensation.

By submitting this application, I do hereby certify that I have read and understand the Grand Festival of the Arts and Crafts rules and regulations and will adhere to the same. I understand that refusal to abide by the regulations may result in my disqualification from the Grand Festival of Arts & Crafts.
