Task 1:
1/ My boss strength:
I really admire my boss who does not spare any effort to help students succeed in their difficult courses. Not only is my boss humorous, but she is also a hard worker who knows how to manage and get the job done efficiently. While being a teacher in LaGuardia, she is running this program with lot dynamism. Although people take my boss as a scrupulous and strict person, her sense of humor and modesty impress me the most. That is the reason why I love to open a conversation with. I remember one day I was asking for help on the job. After advocating me on the issue, she told me: “if you are for something, asks a busy person.” Because I have learned from her that busy people always got a solution, I made a commitment to myself: keep myself busy!
2/ Her blind spot:
She is so strict on the job until, she does not accept any lateness on a given task.
3/ she uses any available material to give information (e-mail, face to face, and telephone, note).
4/ Every Wednesday, my boss held a team meeting to discuss openly what the issues on the job are and what needs to be done for improvement.
5/ One day I could come on time to the job and I did not call my Boss. She was very mad on me and suggested me respect the internship which is a job. The other point is she wants to verify where I up to a given task. I think boss is a model citizen because she’s been running a tutoring program in LaGuardia in which she has given students the chance to work as well as get help.
I believe also that my boss is a model.
