The turnout of volunteers for the Children’s Church was impressive during the 2007 convention which contributed to its success. Workers were prepared and determined to provide an environment where the children could experience the power of God through Jesus Christ that forms and transforms life. This was possible due to the time and effort put into the preparation for the convention by workings in training and prayers.

Training of workers was an important part of our process which took place in Dallas on the 19th of January and 21stApril, 2007 in junction with Ricardo Miller ministries. The training attracted workers with a passion for ministering to children from different parishes in North America. Our commitment to the ministry is inspired by our understanding that the children are part of the church and believe that children can receive Christ and be filled with the Holy Spirit. As a term we were prepared to minister to the children and not to baby sit.

Children learn values and beliefs through their exposure to the world; it becomes pertinent for us to effectively utilize the Children’s Convention an avenue in equipping the church. So let us arise and seize this window of opportunity to shape the life of our children with the word of God as we obey the command given to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6).

So let’s set an example showing the importance of seeking direction from God is not only for the adults but also the children. Come join us as we prepare for 2008 Convention.
