Important Notes:

The phone lines of OLPH Academy and Church will be worked on tomorrow, February 3rd. We expect our phone lines and internet to be down the whole day. We thank you for your patience. If your child is sick and we need to reach you, we will contact you by cell phone.

●Please come and check our new Lost and Found basket in Mrs. Garcia’s area (Attendance Clerk) for a variety of items that have been left behind. We have quite a few jackets piling up and lunch boxes.

●Tardy statements have gone out. Please pay promptly. Invoices have gone out to families owing tuition, registration, or other fees. To the many of you who have already responded, we appreciate it!

●Williams Drive (Bond 2012): StartingFriday, January 23, & for the next 4 months, weather permitting; Williams traffic will be shifted onto the westbound lanes & traffic reduced to 1 lane in each direction between Staples & Airline.All residential side streets on Williamswill be open at the Williams intersection & driveways can be accessed.

PTO Information:

●Option I Families: Summer Raffle, Candy Sales, and Catholic Life Raffle money is overdue. Mrs. Garcia has been sending out notes to families who still owe all or some of their Option I. Please pay this ASAP. The next PTO Fundraiser will be SPRINGFEST!

●Option II Families: December envelopes are now overdue. December was the last month of PTO Option II Payments. Mrs. Garcia has sent notes to families who still owe all or some of their Option II. Please return payments to our school office ASAP.

●Our new 30 oz. OLPH Academy RTIC tumblers with our new logo are here! The price is $30.00. Show your school spirit while you drink your favorite hot or cold beverage! Come by to see one in the office!

●Your PTO support goes a long way in keeping tuition costs down for EVERYONE.

Coming Soon:

●We are excited to announce a new initiative for next year enrollment with Online Tuition Management with FACTS Management/RenWeb, details to follow soon.

●New ParentAlert/Schoolcast system will be tested this week to be our new communication system to broadcast messages via text, phone, email-If you have changed your contact information recently (phone/email) please be sure our front office is aware of changes

●Updated RenWeb Home App will be available offered by RenWeb for your IPhone/Android phones through your App Store/Play Store for the fee of $4.99 a year and it will give you access to announcements, school photos, grades, etc. for your student

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities:

●Will soon be needing parents to help spread mulch in the playgrounds. It will more than likely be on a Saturday morning, perfect for families who work during the week. Specifics to follow soon.

●Please mark your calendars for 2017 SPRINGFEST on Saturday, April 22, from 12-6 PM. We are in need of Springfest Sponsors, Springfest Peddlers, and Silent Auction items. The Springfest theme this year is LUAU. We’ll have more information about lots of opportunities to volunteer soon.

Volunteer Requirements: OLPH Academy families are required to perform volunteer hours during each school year. Parents record their hours in the Volunteer Notebook in the front office. All adults must send in forms for a Criminal History Check and attend a Safe Environment class. New families, please pick up the forms for the criminal history request in the office. These must be turned in with a payment of $5 so your name will be in the database when you attend the class.

NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO ATTEND A FIELD TRIP, DRIVING OR NOT, WITHOUT THE FULFILLMENT OF THESE DIOCESAN REQUIREMENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS TO DIOCESAN POLICY WILL BE MADE. PLEASE TELL THE TEACHER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DRIVE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR OR AT LEAST 7 DAYS BEFORE THE FIELD TRIP.
