FRIDAY
3:45pm – Students begin to arrive at church
4:30 – Leave for retreat area
5:30- 6:00 – Unload and assign rooms
6:00-6:45–Retreat Walk-Through
7:00-7:45 – Dinner @ the Outdoor Pavilion, followed by explanation of the weekend plan
7:45-9:00 – Worship @ the WORSHIP ROOM
9:00-9:45 – Small group time, Session 1 (see the Small Group Location Plan)
10:00-11:00 – Capture the Flag & other outdoor games
11:00 – In rooms
11:30 – LIGHTS OUT!

SATURDAY

7:30 a.m. – RISE & SHINE and Devotion Time
8:30 – Breakfast @ Pavilion
9:15-10:00– SESSION 2 - small groups (see the location plan)
10:00-12:30 – Junior High Back pond area (Swimming, Volleyball, Basketball, Hammocks), High School Front pond area (Zipline, Flag football, Ultimate Frisbee, Board games Hammocks)
12:30-1:15 – Lunch @ Pavilion
1:15-2:00 – SESSION 3 small group (see the location plan)
2:00-4:30 –High School Back pond area, JR High Front pond area
4:30-5:45 – Clean up and rest before dinner(board games will be open)
6:00-6:45 – Dinner @ Pavilion
6:45-8:00 – Worship
8:05-9:00 - SESSION 4 small groups
9:15 – Bonfire & Evening Activities
11:00 – In Rooms
11:30 – LIGHTS OUT!

SUNDAY
6:45 – RISE & SHINE and Devotion Time
7:15 – Grab Breakfast and prepare to leave
7:40 – Load up for return
9:00 – Arrive back at church for Big Breakfast

Code of Conduct Agreement

  • No smoking, alcohol or drugs of any kind are permitted.
    •All participants must stay in the designated areas on the retreat center.
    •No guys are permitted in girls’ rooms or area, and no girls are permitted in guys’ rooms or area.
    •Hammocks may not be stacked more than two high. Girls and guys may not share a hammock.
    •Any emergency must be immediately reported to an adult.
    •We will show respect for and take care of the building and grounds of the Retreat Center.
    •Any damage to the premises should be reported immediately.
    •Food is permitted only in designated areas of the retreat center.
    •Participants must be on time for activities.
    •Lights out times will be observed and obeyed.
    •You will leave the retreat center in as good or better shape as you found it.
    •You will clean up after yourself.
    •You should demonstrate a positive attitude and treat all others with love and respect.
    •Travel in groups of three or more at all times.

RETREAT PARTICIPANT: I have read the Retreat Code of Conduct. I agree to abide by all rules and follow the directions of the youth minister and youth team leaders at all times. I understand that failure to follow any of the rules may result in my dismissal from the retreat.

RULES FOR THE WEEKEND
(this is not necessarily all-inclusive)

  • BE ON TIME, ALL THE TIME
  • ALWAYS HAVE AT LEAST 3 PEOPLE WITH YOU, WHEREVER YOU GO
  • UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL YOU BE ALONE WITH A PERSON OF THE OPPOSITE GENDER
  • YOU MUST BE IN THE ASSIGNED AREA AT ALL TIMES
  • AFTER LIGHTS OUT, YOU WILL NOT LEAVE YOUR SLEEPING AREA
  • CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF
  • FOOD IS NOT PERMITTED INSIDE HOUSES.
  • BE RESPECTFUL TO & UNDERSTANDING WITH EVERYONE
