 - Over the summer several meetings were held at Morley Field to chart a new course for the 2017 meet
 - Objectives during the meeting included
 - Both genders run the same distance
 - Both genders run the same course
 - The course would be used for future years
 - The course for the 2017 meet will be posted on the CIF website
 - The proposed course is 2.93 miles
 - Boys and girls will run the same distance & course
 - Vote taken to adopt the course as submitted, (14 ayes, 0 nays)
 - Time and award schedule will follow the state meet schedules as closely as possible
 - Adaptive/wheelchair
 - Notify CIFSDS if you have an adaptive/wheelchair athlete that is interested in participating
 - Food sponsor
 - CIFSDS will have a food vendor (Somberos) at the championships
