1.0Call to Order
The Gwaii Trust Youth Chair called the meeting to order at 4:30PM.
2.0 Adoption of the Agenda
The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors reviewed the agenda, after discussion the Directors made a motion to adopt the agenda without any amendments, or additions.

3.0 Adoption of Minutes
The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors reviewed the Youth Board of Directors meeting minutes from October 13, 2012. After discussion the Youth Board of Directors made a motion to approve the minutes as is.

The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors reviewed the Youth Board of Directors meeting minutes from November 13, 2012. After discussion the Youth Board of Directors made a motion to approve the minutes as is.

The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors reviewed the Youth Board of Directors meeting minutes from February 6, 2013. After discussion the Youth Board of Directors made a motion to approve the minutes with the amendment under 6.0 Youth Leadership Awards to change ‘principles, to principals’, and to change the header date from 2012 to 2013.

4.0Youth Ad Hoc Committee
The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors discussed the Youth Ad Hoc Committee. After discussion the Youth Board of Directors appointed Paige Atwell, and Jesse Condrotte from the North End to participate with the Gwaii Trust Board of Directors Youth Ad Hoc Committee.
The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors also appointed Berry Wijdeven, and Kiefer Collison to narrow down the list from the South end to participate in the Youth Ad Hoc Committee, the Youth are: Chasz Hodgson, Geoffrey Martynuik, Khataya Brown, Rhea Botel, and Brandon Gibbard.
5.0Old Massett Youth Coordinator – Harmony Williams
The Old Massett Youth Coordinator presented at the Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors meeting. The Youth Coordinator gave a brief description of the Youth Coordinators history on island, for both the North end, and the South end. After discussion the Youth Coordinator asked the Youth what they would like to see on the islands for youth.
6.0 In-School Food Programs
The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors discussed the in-school food program. After discussion the Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors made a motion that Gwaii Trust Society Board of Directors should keep this program going.

7.0 Youth Program Allocation
The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors made the following recommendations to the Gwaii Trust Board of Directors.
“IN CAMERA” Youth Program Allocations(This section of the meeting is carried out “In Camera” as per Gwaii Trust guidelines) review of GTS “In camera” policy.
Haida Gwaii Rec’s ASSI/After School Sport Initiative$10,000.00
Sk’aadgaa Naay Elementary/Grade 7 Trip$5,000.00
Haida Gwaii regional Recreation Commission Society$9,975.00
Old Massett Health Centre/Family Camp$6,700.00

8.0 Next Meeting
The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors scheduled the next Youth Board meeting for Sunday June 2, 2013 at the Haida House in Tlell from 10:00AM – 4:00PM. Designate will send out a doodle poll to confirm the meeting date.

The Gwaii Trust Youth Board of Directors meeting adjourned at 7:10pm
