Welcome new and returning students to Valle Lindo High School! We as teachers and staff are proud of having you for a brand new start of the school year. We look forward to fulfill your educational and academic needs. In fact, we want you to feel that you are

apart of the school and that Valle Lindo High School is your school. The School and staff is here to make your stay a memorable and life longing experience.

Valle Lindo High School is located in South San Gabriel Valley and is part of the El Monte Unified School District. The school functions on a traditional school year. The mascot that represents the school is a mustang riding in a hot rod.

Valle Lindo High School is committed to provide its students with a rich school curriculum to enable students to succeed and go into higher education.

The teachers at Valle Lindo High School are highly trained to train to meet the students’ academic needs. Each teacher is fully credential in the five areas of the school curriculum: English, Math, Science, Physical Education, and Computer technology.

Carlos Fraire is a graduate of Valle Lindo High School. He has a degree in Liberal Studies concentrated in Life Science. His personal goal as a teacher is to inspire students to enter realm of science.

Chuck Smith is a graduate of Cal State Los Angeles. He majored in Biology concentrated in stem cell research. He has been a fulltime staff member for over ten years and has helped many students get in many prestige’s Universities around the nation.

SCHOOL ATTENDANCE

POLICY

  1. School begins at 8:00 am in the morning and ends at exactly 2:30 in the afternoon.
  2. All students are required to be ready to begin the school day with out no problem.
  3. Students are responsible to be on time. Three tardiest counts as an absence.
  4. 5 absences will lead the student to expel.
  5. It is required that all students have a note from their parent or guardian if the child is absence.

HOUSE NIGHT

Parents are invited to meet the teachers and staff on January 16, 2003 at 6:00 pm. This will give the parents a great opportunity to meet the teacher and staff. Moreover, it will give an idea how much pride the school has in it educational goal to get students on the right path.

Coffee and doughnuts will be giving in the schools cafeteria. No conferences will be held on this evening; however, you may schedule an individual conference with the instructors for a later date.

Dress Code

No baggy pants

No hats

No clothing with indecent images or writing.

Students are encouraged to participate in our schools activity. Some of the requirements needed to participate are that the students must have good class attendance and 3.0 GPA. Some of the activities that the students can participate are listed below.
