USIC-C1 Form: Change to existing programme, pathway or module at USIC

**Form to be completed by the USIC Programme Director**

Please note, offers are made to students 23 months in advance, e.g. for 2017 entry, changes need to be in place by October 2015

Please note, this form is only required for a significant amendment, as defined below:

  • a change which affects the aims and/or learning outcomes
  • a change to or addition of a mode of attendance (e.g. from full-time to part-time)
  • a substantial change to one or more modules which impact on the aims and/or learning outcomes
  • a change to the assessment of a number of modules

If you are uncertain whether the changes you are proposing constitute a significant amendment, please contact Kate Richardson in LeTS ()
Process:

  1. The USIC Programme Director (PD) agrees the proposed changes with Study Group
  2. The USIC PD provides this form, alongside the updated programme specification and module outline(s) to the affectedDepartmental Link Tutor (s) (LT) at TUoS for comments / approval.
  3. The Departmental LT sends the form to the Faculty LT for comments / approval.
  4. The Departmental LT sends the approved form to LeTS ().
  5. The approved form is sent to the Academic Management Board for full approval.
  6. All parties are notified of the outcome.
  7. LeTS to update the Progression Master List and provide support as needed.
  8. USIC to update recruitment materials.
