The Glasgow Netball Association is delighted to announce our End of Season Awards Night in conjunction with our FastNet Tournament.

The GNA Senior Events Committee have worked extremely hard over the last few weeks to make this night a huge success. All clubs need to be supportive of this night.

Tickets will be on a first come first served basis, maximum amount of tickets to be sold is 150.

Last year was sold out so get your tickets fast.

GNA Squad tickets available with an accompanying adult.

FASTNET TOURNAMENT

Glasgow Club Holyrood

SATURDAY 6th June 2015

10am – 3pm

The Rules

Timing – each half lasts 10 minutes. Breaks between halves are 2 minutes. Injury time is only 30 seconds

Substitutions – an unlimited number of rolling subs per team per quarter is allowed. Each sub may enter the game while play is in progress. Team changes cannot be made during a rolling substitution as the game is not stopped

Mixed teams – mixed teams are allowed. A minimum of 1 and a maximum of 3 men are allowed on court at any one time. There may only be 1 man in either goal circle at any one time

Power Plays – each team can separately nominate one half as a Power Play in which each goal scored by that team counts for double points. The elected Power Play half must be notified before the half begins

2 point shots – GS and GA may shoot from inside or outside the goal circle. Goals shot from outside the goal circle count for 2 points. In a Power Play half, they count for 4 points

Umpires – teams are to provide their own umpires. If teams do not have an umpire available, it is possible for umpires to be provided, however enough notice must be given in advance

Timings may be changed on day of Tournament
