Another implementation that was made were working on initiaing socialization and building conversation skills . Afterreviewing social skills checklist with both teacher and parents, observing EG in small groups and social settings such as recess we decided on skills we can work on to help EG with his socialization

1. Joint attention: sitting and attending to a new task presented in small group
Shifting eyes body toward peer when listening.
2. Greeting: walking up and greeting peers in group
3. Social play: joining into already established play
Playing functionally at recess
Sustaining play with friends
4. Self awareness: asking for help in novel situation

Labeling other students emotions

THIS PROGRAM WILL BE IMPLEMENTED FOR 6 WEEKS

For the first week I worked with EG 1:1 after school for 1 hours and 5 mins.

11/13 to 11/17

Greetings ,Social Play and basic conversation skills

3:00pm to 3:15: worked on Greetings each other then role play using each other as peers and teachers. Then we used finger puppets as peers greeting each other. He really liked it.

3:15 to 3:20 : break /exercise/ imitation skills

3:20 to 3:25: watch a video on socialskills :Joint attention :listening and attending skills

3:25 to 3:30 answered work sheet

3:30 to 3:40 role play listening skills video between us both and another peer from his class. I was pretending to be the person in the video not using listening body and no eye contact .

3:40 to 3:45: verbally answer questions from work sheet and was able to answer questions because he felt ignored . after role playing listening body he said that he must always do that with his friends.

3:45 to 3:55 : we worked on basic conversation skills and role play asking friends to join their game

3:55 to 4:05 : we role played how we should participate in small groups.

We reviewed checklist progress with teachers and later role play and practice greetings in full effect , watching same youtube video and role play joining established play. We also discuss how was his week which Eg said that he made friends.

Second week 11/20 to 11/24 1 hour with Eg and group

Self awareness , Conversation with peers , labeling emotions and maintenance of last week skills that was worked on using 1:1 and Group

For group Settings we will work with 2 other peers from his class in the afternoon in aftercare.

3:00 to 3:20: review greetings and role play greeting peers and using listening bodies. Role play basic conversation he can ask his friends. Watch a you tube video:

3:20 to 3:25 : get snack and meet other friends at after care;

3:25to 3:30: have snack and initiate to play a game after they are finish having snack

3:30 to 3:50 play blocks and build with friends as well as stying o topic.

3:55 : he said good bye to friends and wave bye

4:00: we review first after care with class mate and he did very well and hoping to set up play date for Wednesday

3:00pm to 3:30; we role play what he watch on the video using slightly different theme incorporating previous skills that HE .LEARNED. we also prep for playdate which was very structured . we chose games that HIS PEER LIKED AND ALSO WILL BE USING SOME COOPERATIVE ACTIVITY SKILLS TO MAKE CUP CAKES.

3:30 TO 4:30 : PLAYDATE AT HOME WITH ANOTHER FRIEND FROM SCHOOL

DURING THE PLAYDATE EG was able to execute what we role played for weeks. He needed help at time to continued the converstion needed a few redirection as he got overstimulated

Both peers followed the instruction very well to make cup cakes . while cup cakes were in the oven they played mine craft. EG was able to make comment and maintain converstion on building for mine craft.
